Looks Good from the Back - 0 views

  •
Marianne I like pretty things and when people look at the camera in fashion blogs. After becoming a mom two+ years ago, my body and style started to change, and so, I am left...struggling. And trying on lots of styles that I wouldn't have touched before, because I don't know what works on my body any more. This leads to sometimes hilarious results, and sometimes surprise successes, all of which I am willing to document and post for your enjoyment. My personal style is undergoing a bit of a sea change at the moment. In the past I've leaned towards whimsy, loving anthropologie, Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore. However now I find myself wearing more black, grey, khaki. More structure. Since having a baby I can't abide by flowy dresses or tops because they remind me too much of maternity clothing. I would rather wear something structured even if my stomach is not exactly flat. I still love Marc Jacobs and anthropologie, I just like different styles. I would like to build a forever wardrobe of things I will still want to wear in 10 years. Pleased to meet you!

Hello! My name is Jen McCabe. I am a freelance writer, blogger and marketing consultant happily living in beautiful Portland, Oregon. "Honey Kennedy" was my grandmother's nickname when she was growing up in New York. Her charm, wit, class and impeccable style have been constant inspirations for me throughout my life. I think of her every day and wish she was here to share in the excitement with me… and you. I look forward to your comments and please feel free to contact me if you'd like to drop me a line, have me take a look at something you're working on or anything that you think that I'd enjoy. I'm an 18 year old from a small Chicago suburb, but I will be spending my next few years at school in Boston. I love vintage clothes, collect old cameras, and thrift way too much. I came to love vintage clothes at a very young age when I stumbled across some old photos of my great grandmother and aunt (Grace and Viola). Shortly after that, my mother's antique shop had a vintage fashion show, and ever since then I have been on the lookout for great vintage finds. I'm just a girl who hopes to travel the world, meet interesting people, and take in all that life has to offer. This blog is my personal space to write about my daily life, styles that I love, and everything else that falls in-between. Feel free to email me at graceandviola@gmail.com with any and all questions.

Fatty Unbound - 0 views

I am a fat positive fashion blogger and excessive dresser located in Yorkshire, UK. An avid vintage enthusiast and DIY seamstress with a love for all things thrifted, handmade or on a sale rail, she set up her blog Fatty Unbound in 2009, after becoming frustrated with the lack of budget friendly, body positive, and politically conscious fat fashion blogs. With her blog, she aims to challenge bodily hierarchies and notions of privilege within mainstream fashion circles through a mixture of outfits, strategies, craft tutorials and personal histories, all designed to normalise fat bodies and celebrate body diversity in fashion and beyond.

FROM THE REZ TO THE CITY - 0 views

  •
I have always been in love with fashion but I was born on a Native American reservation where it was not available. Growing up I looked through my mom's fashion magazines for inspiration, then I created outfits with what I had in my closet. When I left the "Rez" and moved to the "City" I went crazy for fashion! If I had to categorize my style, I would call it classically chic with a touch of glam/drama. In an effort to inspire my fellow full-figured women, I decided to share my style through this blog. My goal is to prove that no matter your dress size...you can "ROCK" fashion and look great! I believe the key to great style is finding inspiration, being creative and displaying confidence. I hope you are inspired! Kiah
