Recently, Facebook rolled out a major overhaul of their Pages. We studied the new design extensively to see what was new and improved. In this guide, we will go through the Facebook page changes and their impact, from a design, usability and web development perspective.

Les plus attentifs d'entre-vous l'auront probablement remarqué, Facebook a accompagné l'annonce de l'arrivée de ses nouvelles Fan-Pages par celle de la disparition future du FBML. En d'autres termes, à partir du 11 Mars prochain, il vous sera impossible de faire appel à des applications telles que Static FBML afin de créer vos onglets personnalisés sur Facebook (les onglets déjà créés étant néanmoins maintenus pour une durée indéterminée).
Facebook unveiled major upgrades to fan Pages on February 10. If you have not yet upgraded your Page(s), you can do so here. I recommended choosing the Preview option first to get a feel for what's changed. However, on March 10, the upgrade will be automatic, so you may as well switch before then to get used to it.
