The Gurugram police have arrested a woman yesterday on charges of getting her husband murdered through contract killers for a sum of ₹ 16 lakh. The accused woman, Sweety, suspected her husband to be having an extra-marital affair and feared that he would transfer his entire property to another woman. The provoked her to plan the murder.

Three members of a family were found dead under mysterious circumstances in their home in Pataudi town of Haryana's Gurugram district, while a one-year-old girl, who was seriously injured, died in a hospital. Their two-year-old son Akshay was reportedly in a school when the incident occurred.

Owing to a change in wind direction, Delhi's air quality remained poor for the second day in a row. According to officials, the overall air quality index (AQI) in Delhi at 10am was found to be 245, which falls in the poor category. Meanwhile, Ghaziabad and Gurugram recorded even worse air quality.
