अब भारत में भी अमेरिका की तर्ज पर सिंगल इमरजेंसी हेल्पलाइन नंबर होगा। देश में आज सिंगल इमरजेंसी हेल्पलाइन नंबर 112 लॉन्च किया जाएगा। इसके बाद सभी इमरजेंसी सेवाएं जैसे पुलिस (100), फायर ब्रिगेड (101), एंबुलेंस (102), महिला सुरक्षा (1090) आदि इसी हेल्पलाइन के तहत आ जाएंगी। यानी इन सभी सेवाओं से 112 नंबर के जरिए संपर्क किया जा सकता है। यह अमेरिका में इमरजेंसी हेल्पलाइन 911 की तर्ज पर शुरू की जा रही है।

A woman was killed and another youth was injured in Kashmir's Pulwama on Wednesday after terrorists opened fire. The terrorists, who haven't been identified, barged into the woman's house at Narbal area and attacked her. The woman, identified as Nageena Jan, died instantly after suffering bullet injuries.
