The Majerhat bridge in South Kolkata has collapsed, and many are trapped underneath it. As preliminary reports come in, it's been confirmed that at least 5 people have died. The death toll is expected to climb significantly as many vehicles were passing over and under the bridge when it collapsed.

In a shocking piece of news, six people died in Maharashtra on Saturday due to an explosion in a chemical factory in Dhule district. Reports said at least 70 people are still trapped inside the establishment. Multiple cylinder blasts are said to have caused the incident. A team of National Disaster Response Force has been sent. Rescue operations are underway.

At least 69 people were killed yesterday night as a massive fire ripped through several buildings also used as chemical and plastic warehouses in an old part of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. The fire broke out in Old Dhaka's Chawkbazar area. Officials said that the death toll could still rise further as many people are still trapped in those buildings. Here's more.

मंगलवार को देश की आर्थिक राजधानी मुंबई के डोंगरी इलाके में एक चार मंजिला इमारत ढह गई। अधिकारियोंं के अनुसार, इमारत के मलबे में 40-50 लोगों के फंसे होने की आशंका है। उन्हें बचाने के लिए राष्ट्रीय आपदा राहत बल (NDRF) और फायर सर्विसेज की टीमें मौके पर पहुंच गई हैं और बचाव कार्य जारी है। इमारत क्यों गिरी, इसकी वजह अभी तक सामने नहीं आई है। कुछ दिन पहले हिमाचल प्रदेश के सोलन में भी ऐसी घटना हुई थी।
