Three persons have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and harassing a boy on suspicion of his involvement in a theft case in Rajouri district of J&K. Yesterday, we received a video in which some men can be seen tying a minor boy with a rope and hanging him with the roof, an official said.

On Friday, terrorists kidnapped two more relatives of J&K policemen, taking the total number of such abductions to 11 over the last three days. Notably, in the last 28 years of the Kashmir militancy, the abductions mark the first time that families of policemen have been targeted like this.

Following a spate of abductions by terrorists that saw family members of policemen getting kidnapped, Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) SP Vaid, on Thursday, was removed from his post. The removal came just two days after Additional Director General (ADG), CID, Abdul Gani saw the same fate.

The rape and murder case of a 12-year-old Dalit girl whose beheaded body was found last week in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district has been solved, said police. Cops said she was kidnapped, gang-raped, and beheaded by her three brothers and uncle. Police charged her brothers, uncle, and aunt in the case.
