Finance minister of India Mr. P Chidambaram has announced the interim budget for the session 2014-15 today in parliament. Here are the borderlines of the significant budget:

The interim budget of 2014-15 was opened on the cheerful note conveying that the anticipated GDP of 4.6 % will be achievable as said the Union Finance minister P Chidambaram on Monday in Parliament session. It is to be noted that fiscal deficit is an amount that is borrowed by the government to meet its expenses.

CJI Ranjan Gogoi, on Monday, recused himself from a plea challenging the appointment of Nageshwar Rao as the interim director of CBI. The case will now be taken up by a different bench on January 24. But, CJI said he will be a part of the select panel which will decide the next boss of CBI.

Today, Mallikarjun Kharge announced this year's Interim Railway Budget with no hike in rail fares. Another biggest reason to send 'words of praise' for this year's budget is introduction of 72 new trains which includes 17 Premium trains, 38 Express trains, 10 Passenger trains, 4 MEMU and 3 DEMU . Besides introduction of new trains, frequency of 3 trains will be increased and 3 trains will get extension.

J&K Governor, Satya Pal Malik, hit out at former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday for his remarks on security in the northernmost state. Rahul had spoken about reports of violence in J&K. Lashing out at him, Malik said he will send an aircraft for Rahul so he can see things on his own.
