In a traumatic incident, a 22-year-old woman alleged the driver of an Ola cab sexually harassed her on August 23, during her journey from Yelahanka to JP Nagar in  Bengaluru. She has filed a complaint against him, and alleged he masturbated while watching porn in the cab. The driver is absconding.

Two transgender students were allegedly gang-ra-ped in Bengaluru on Sunday evening by three men. According to the students, who hail from Manipur, the incident took place at their rented accommodation in the Koramangala area of the city. Nearly 300 cars were gutted after the parking spot at Yelahanka air base near Bengaluru, where Aero India 2019 is underway, caught a massive fire.Images and videos which found their way to social media showed black smoke emanating from the parking area.According to NDTV, the fire may have started after a live cigarette was disposed on the grass of the open field.

A Mangaluru court Thursday sentenced serial killer 'Cyanide' Mohan Kumar for the rape and murder of an Anganwadi worker from Bantwal in 2005. VI Additional District and Sessions Judge Sayeedunnisa, who convicted Kumar for raping and murdering the woman in Bengaluru, awarded the death sentence.
