Excellent site to start teaching our little children our rights as human beings. We can print out some of the exerpts they have and use them as reading exercises. Then, Have them worjk in groups, so they can act out their interpretation of the human right they read. Else, we can also follow the lesson plan they have in the site. hope it is useful.

This is a very useful list that has been divided into sections from little readers to adults. We can also find tests, grammar, vocabulary, and so on.I hope you enjoy it.

It is a nice site where we can find some grammar focus exercises. Specially for teachers who do not have enough time to do them on their own. Moreover, it has teachers´forums where we can share ideas.

My topic is Violation of Human Rights in Peru (1980-2000). I found this lesson plan from a project in Austrailia. I would change this lesson plan slightly. Instead of people in" another country" I would ask my students instead to talk about Peruvian Andean people.

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission was set up in Peru in order to investigate and present a report of what had happened in Peru as a consequence of the action of the Shining Path. The aim of the final report is that we should not forget our history so that we do not repeat it. The video shows an exhibit of photos and a survivor who speaks to the audience in Quechua.

this site can be used with EFl students as it is a resourse for language learners (like graded readers).the students can use it to enhance their reading and vocabulary skills, while the teacher can set it and a reading home task

Very up to date ready-made reading, vocabulary and speaking activities. There is lots of material in each document so you probably won't have time / want to use it all. It's best to be selective! There are sometimes typos so it's important to check beforehand but it's an excellent source.
