World Wide Web has evolved so fast that there seems to be some confusion about its evolution, and eras of its development. A consensus has again evolved which has divided the development of the World Wide Web into three eras which are known as Web 1.0, Web 2.0 and Web 3.

I have chosen this page because it has an article that mentions the cultural diversity and the problems human right face because of this. i think that there is a very interesting reading about it. I think that this article could be very helpfull for a classroom discussion, or a vocabulary activity in which students could give the definition of some words chosen by the teacher.

This is actually a very well known site, but the reason why I chose it is mainly because of the video. Right now I'm having some lessons concerning our community and it's problems. So I'm using the video to establish a discussion about what people think about the "power of one" so far in our discussions we have talked only about the problems society has, but we haven't considered talking about the solutions...and this could be a really good way to introduce them to my class.

Thanks Dave. I checked this out and liked it. I'll explore it more. It's in Beta and one doesn't know whether it will stay free. But I'm going to check it out. Mind42 seems a bit complex for people to get on, though once they are there, it really is easy to use.

There are many people who do not have an English dictionary at home. For this reason, they can (should) consult a very good dictionary online. As I tell my students, "dictionaries can be your best friends!" (Mainly when you are writing an essay!) =)
