The Australian Reptile Park is a hands-on zoo that runs an exciting low-cost educational presentation for students in Early Stage 1 to Stage 3 titled Feathers, Fur and Scales. The presentation covers topics in the HSIE and Science KLA's including habitat destruction, endangered species, caring for animals, animal food chains, and simple life cycles. Students participate in hands-on experiences of seeing and touching a range of Australian native and exotic creatures including snakes, lizards, turtles, a large Burmese python, an American alligator and a selection of birds and mammals.
