Not related to the case but a great video on the impact of appearances, so maybe could make some connections on skin color and appearances and stereotypes that go along with them

This is such an amazing study and video. For anyone who thinks things have changed, just watch the doll study that is replicated here from the 1950s! It makes me cry every time I watch this video. Hard not to when you see these little kids' faces.

I loved how she replicated the experiment, but sadly the numbers really haven't changed and my heart was breaking with the kids gave their reasons on why they chose they certain dolls they did for each question.

I found this article interesting because it can go both ways. The defense can be accused of desperately digging for "dirt" on Trayvon or the defense could have proved that Trayvon wasn't well behaved.

This story/video doesn't pertain to the Trayvon Martin case but I found it very interesting because it just goes to show that people of the African American race are followed more closely than those of the White race just like McIntosh described in her article. I feel that we could make some big connections between this case and the Trayvon Martin case along with racism throughout the world.

Wow! This is a great article that shows how things can really be taken out of context and what happens when diversity training is misunderstood and done poorly. Yuo can see why there can be a huge backlash against it. I love this article for seeing a different perspective on it. Would like to see more like this so we can have a discussion on it.
