Spotlight is a 15 minute daily English listening program for English language learners.

Words are highlighted as you hear them, so it's easy to follow the text as you listen or read aloud.

These listening materials are designed to help you become better acquainted with a variety of typical student questions, common idioms used within them, and fast, reduced speech, a manner of speaking often used by American students. Most of the questions in these materials are generic questions; they could be heard in nearly any class or lab.

Search different news programs such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Weekend Edition, Marketplace (business news). Transcripts are available for most shows two days after the broadcast date. On the menu tab "Programs," there are popular programs such as "Morning Edition" (news) or "All Things Considered" (popular interest stories).
