This article talks about how much schools waste. Tribune went into Chicago public schools to see just how much they were wasting. The results were 334 pounds of uneaten food per day. Often times children aren't allowed to take uneaten food out of the cafeteria because it falls into liability and health issues for the school districts then. While reading this article I have realized many companies have been going the Eco- friendly route. On the way to work I saw the VA hospital have solar panels on the overheads in the parking lot. I also see a lot of churches installing solar panels.
