The second amendment can be confusing. Is the right to bear arms only for your house or for your car too? Some states make you have a permit to carry a gun in your vehicle. If it applies to only in the home, why can you have one in the car if you have a permit?

Washington Bureau Reporting from Washington - The 2nd Amendment's "right to keep and bear arms" is proving to be a right to keep a gun at home, but so far not a right to bear a loaded firearm in public.

Officials of State Universities are not pleased with the two house bills in Arizona State legislation. The purposed bills would relax current gun restrictions, explicitly on college campuses. According to local University officials combining guns and campuses is a bad idea. One official indicated that mixing guns and college campuses takes away from a safe learning atmosphere.

Arizona has a bill awaiting the state's House approval that would give any employer the option to not offer employees contraception. This bill is meant to protect the businesses that have a religious or moral objection to birth control.

It's frightening to listen to our governor talk about this bill. Scary!

Some believe that parents should take control what happen in their families. Those same parents wants the government to handle what happen with other and their lifestyles. The government is trying to decide how to control how a person gambles with or without the interenet. Who are we to tell someone when to gamble and how often to gamble. The internet is a freedom to do what we want to do in it. Each familiy should not be told what to search or what game to play when using the internet.

A few days ago the Australian House of Representatives' Standing Committee on Communications published its report on cyber crime and security. This document has the ambitious title "Hackers, Fraudsters and Botnets: Tackling the Problem of Cyber Crime", and is an impressive, almost 300 pages reading with statistics, examples, and of course suggestions on how to solve the cyber crime problem.

This article talks on a new ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court. In the past, if two occupants lived legally in the same house, it was required for an officer to have a warrant and permission from BOTH of the residents before being able to enter. Even if one person said yes and the other said no, the officer would not be able to enter. Now, if an officer has the, "ok" from at least one of the occupants, they can enter with just their approval.

President Obama signed legislation into law on Tuesday evening reinstating key counterterrorism laws and reforming the government's surveillance powers. Planned Parenthood is once again being voted on whether to stay funded or to be defunded. The house of reps is expected to pass a bill that will about 450 million out of planned parenthood. The Govt. has not funded the abortion side of planned parenthood since 1976, so some Democrats criticize them.
