The NRA (National Rifle Association) said that gun owners are sports enthusiasts and not criminals. This article also points out that since the 1960's the government have been debating on the issue of gun control but nothing has changed. Neither side (Democratic and Conservative) are listening to each other, they are counteracting and arguing but not listening to each others beliefs on this issue, which is a main reason why this debate has been going on for so long.
