    There is an organization in Illinois that stands up for smokers in that state. Some think that by banning smoking in some bars and resturants will hurt the business not help. Garnet Scheuer, chair person, believes that it should be up to the private business owners to decide whether they should have smoking allowed in their establishment not the state itself. He believes that there is no difference between a smoker and non smoker rights. A smoker should have the same rights!

    We have all seen people using their cell phones while driving, whether it be talking on them or texting. Several states have passed laws to ban using cell phones while driving knowing those who do so are at a higher risk for causing or being in an accident. Even though it may seem more safe to use your blu-tooth while driving, but numerous studies have suggested that drivers who use their cell phones in any way while driving, still poses a danger to themselves and other people on the road.

Measles breakout in California! - 0 views

    Last Wednesday there were 59 cases of measles in California and now this Friday there are 91 cases! This all started about a month or two ago at Disneyland where more than half of the carriers were employees or park-goers. 2 kids recently got the disease and both of them were unvaccinated. Now a parent of a student at the school where measles broke out is saying we should ban unvaccinated kids from going to school.

IN 2012 the death of 20 children at a school in Newtown Connecticut caused an upraise in the debate on whether we should have a more strict gun control law or not. President Obama tried getting semi-automatics and military style weapons banned and having a more strict background check was defeated in the senate in 2013. Since the mass shootings in 2015 Obama is trying to rekindle the bill.
