President Obama signed legislation into law on Tuesday evening reinstating key counterterrorism laws and reforming the government's surveillance powers. The announcement from the White House that Obama had signed the USA Freedom Act came a few hours after the bill sailed through the Senate 67-32, following a protracted debate that lasted for weeks and forced some of the provisions to expire for nearly two days.

The Edward Snowden leak case, which exposed some of the practical elements of NSA surveillance operations unknown to many Americans, has also revealed just how divided the nation remains over whether the government should be permitted to intrude on privacy to safeguard national security.

This is Ted Cruz's plan to stop the flood of illegal immigrants crossing the Mexico/America border. He is going to build a wall that actually works and up the number of patrol agents. He is also going to hold the DHS to do their job and keep our borders secure and us safe.

I really do not believe it is immigrants who are making our country bad, what makes our country bad is the ignorance people throw out there with most believing that they "know" everything. I strongly believe that when some says immigrant, in any one's head they automatically think of Mexicans, when in fact its anyone who was not born in the U.S., Canadians, Arabians, Dominicans, etc,.

No different from many areas throughout Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, San Diego County is on the front line of the illegal immigration fight. The difference is that experience and results make San Diego one of the most effectively secured border regions in the country. This success is not a coincidence or due to luck.

This is a perfect example as to what businesses are willing to do for more profit. To make more money they are sharing computing and storage resources, which can result in leakage of consumer information.

A border crossing in the U.S. will be subject to the authority exercised through the Department of Homeland Security, a U.S. governmental federal agency, through various administrative and enforcement divisions. Accordingly, a border crossing which occurs in the manner generally meant by this terminology, which is to say illegally, will accordingly come under the coverage of the U.S.
