How Family Planning Helps the Economy and Women's Careers - 0 views

  •
Family-planning programs boost incomes, reduce poverty, and ease the load on America's safety net. And yet, Republicans can't seem to condemn them strongly enough. Investing in reproductive health isn't just good for women and their families-it's good for the economy. (nmw)

If planned parenthood were to be defunded, it is predicted that the government would end up spending more in the long run on public assistance. Planned parenthood provides many services for women, one of them being birth control. Statistics in this article show that women who used birth control were easily able to finish school, find jobs, and create a steady life before having children. Defunding this organization would cost America more money in the bigger scheme of things.

Ted Cruz's Immigration Solution - 0 views

  •
This is Ted Cruz's plan to stop the flood of illegal immigrants crossing the Mexico/America border. He is going to build a wall that actually works and up the number of patrol agents. He is also going to hold the DHS to do their job and keep our borders secure and us safe.

I really do not believe it is immigrants who are making our country bad, what makes our country bad is the ignorance people throw out there with most believing that they "know" everything. I strongly believe that when some says immigrant, in any one's head they automatically think of Mexicans, when in fact its anyone who was not born in the U.S., Canadians, Arabians, Dominicans, etc,.
