Awesomelibrary.org is an excellent website for educators. This website has links for teachers that are organized by subject. The topics vary from subject to subject (i.e. U.S. government or writing). What I liked most about this website is the mini-lessons that are provided for each subject. This is a great tool for reteaching activities in the classroom.

The Awesome Library organizes 33,000 carefully reviewed K-12 education resources for teachers. It contains a directory, an index, and a search engine. This site has valuable resources for teachers, parents, and students. There are activities, lesson plans, games, and additional help for teachers and parents to help their students.

Free music downloads, free games, children's books, children's music, children's songs, sing-along songs, and animated cartoons help teach kids to read. Free teacher lessson plans, work sheets, teaching aids, daily quizzes help classroom teachers teach and test.

Great website for educators to access royalty free clip art, lesson plans, clip media, and presentations.

This website is AMAZING. It has clip-art, photographs, presentation images, maps, lessons, and answers to tech questions. There are so many images available, they are free (up to a certain amount, but it is very generous), it tells you exactly how to cite them, and it has options for file size and format. Discovery education is a great resource for teachers at any level. Their website offers a multitude of free resources for all grade levels and subjects. It also includes lesson plans and worksheets for teachers, and homework help for students and teachers.

One of the world's most popular video games has made significant inroads into K-12 classrooms, opening new doors for teaching everything from city planning to 1st graders to physics for high schoolers. August 18, 2014 I love rubrics and I find them particularly helpful in lesson plan designing as well as in assessing students work. I know some teachers and educators think of them as "so yesterday" but we need to view them as roadmaps that can guide you towards achieving your teaching/learning goals.
