A great site for students and teachers to use for virtual labs and activities. It offers virtual labs and activities for science and math subject areas for grades K-12 and even higher education.

The Chronicle's "Online Learning:  How Effective Is the Virtual Classroom"  ($6.95 digital) reports on the issue of quality control and assessment. 

This website has videos that can be used as a virtual field trip.

I love children's museums, and their websites! Even if a trip to the museum is out of the question, websites often offer a virtual field trip from home. Students can explore exhibits, play games, and teachers can print out lesson plans. I do this before every trip to DC. Many of the Smithsonian's even have downloadable apps.

This website is a great internet safety resource for students, parents and educators.  There are videos and lesson ideas available.  There is also information about cyberbullying.  This website is a great classroom tool because it offers engaging activities for students, including virtual games, to teach them about internet safety.

The Virtual Reality Classroom

Get your students interacting with many math backgrounds and manipulatives that are commonly used in K-4 classrooms including: bar diagrams, calendars, grids, equation charts, number lines, place value charts and all the markers, counters, game pieces, money images, blocks, and clocks that you will need.
