A solid video explaining the importance of photography within our community.

I like this because it's telling us why photography is more than just taking some nice pictures but how it's a beautifully unique way to show things and connect people. To me it's a way to tell a story. Or express emotions by letting others see exactly what you saw. And a lot of people don't understand the importance of these things.

JorDAN, I can get the connection from the title. How does he do this? What point does he make that tells you why or how photo is important in our community?

One of the most beautiful poets ever. This poem is about bullied children. when i listen to his words and the music in the background i picture images of what his poetry is portraying.

I liked this video because it was funny but at the same time extremely serious. He had very interesting stories that kept my attention.

I saw this a few years ago, outstanding. I especially love the part about the homework revenge. I am not certain how this relates to the original question. Yes indeed, I picture many of the scenarios he describes, he is a good storyteller. Most kids I know who are bullies have been bullied. Does that mean we should excuse the way they treat other people? I don't know many people who weren't mercilessly picked on as children for some short-coming. It seems to me everyone should just be kind to each other, even if they don't know them-- or even if they are teachers. :-)

The well known musician, Paul McCartney, made some very nice visual art paintings. Color seems to be a big part of his work. The colors give you a feel as to the emotion attached to it.

I find it very interesting that such a talented singer is also such a talented artist. The way he uses colors to express the emotions shows a lot about his artistic style.

Tyler the creator is a well known rapper in the music industry but is also a renowned artist to his peers. Designing his own album covers and even some pieces for The Kanye West

Its weird to think about how someone so vulgar and hardcore can calm dow and create peaceful and amazing art. His work is very creative too.

knowing him i wouldn't think he would be an artist. it's sort of mind blowing to know he makes something peaceful.

John Mellencamp's visual art website. Mellencamp developed a style that fuses the aesthetic approaches of the German expressionists Max Beckmann and Otto Dix with that of American neo-expressionists like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Francesco Clemente. His oil paintings combine portraits of everyday Americans with a cast of universally recognized symbols-hearts, guitars, targets, and crowns-and words such as "dreams," "blues," and "freedom."

I was very impressed with the way the paintings made me think. They're very satisfying to look at and It was like the paintings were whispering those emotions until I really saw. Then it was like they were being told to me clearly.

I chose this ted talk because this is a very unique type of "music". During his performance, the way he creates music makes you think of an image of exactly what type of music he plays

I liked this one and I can't find any other ways to describe it other than it's very unique and interesting. It did sort of put images into my head which still amazes me how music is able to do such strange things like make me picture the emotion in the songs.

Using layout grids well helps the designer keep consistency within their work.
