Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever.
Jesus Christ lives today and faithfully blesses and enriches the lives of all those who trust and obey Him, including many who have greatly influenced the world.
He who comes from heaven is greater than all others: he who comes from earth is of the earth, and of the earth are his words: he who comes from heaven is over all.
Father God. If Jesus needed to spend time alone with You, how much more do I! Please forgive me when I think that I can rush through the day without committing it all to You, and receiving Your love and wisdom. Help me to place today into Your hands, to ask for Your advice and learn how to accept what You say. Most of all, I do need to know that You love me, and I need to learn to love You best of all: so please help me to make the time to pray and find a place where we will not be disturbed. Luke 4:33-35 In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an evil spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, "Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!" "Be quiet!" Jesus said sternly. "Come out of him!" Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.
When Pilate saw that he could prevail with nothing, but that he was only creating violent agitation [in the crowd of people], he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, "I am innocent of the blood of this righteous person; therefore you suffer the consequence of the injustice.
