wireWAX - interactive video video - 18 views

Interesting new tool that lets you overlay and tag people, etc. in a tool. There are interesting (and some scary) applications for this. This is one of those sites you'll want to play with. The neat thing is that you can add tags to objects as well. This could have some fascinating applications for flipping the classroom. "The tool is tool to use, so everything you saw in the tool example I sent would be possible when you sign in to wireWAX studio. The only limitation for a tool user is the size of the overlay is limited to 200px by 200px, but apart from that we hope there is plenty of scope to do as much creative stuff as you like, from using the overlay boxes or the inbuilt widgets (Flickr, Instagram, Youtube, Facebok, Twitter etc).

This is a wonderful Video conferencing site which works across many types of devices. There is no sign up or login required. Just start a room and share the link to invite afters. You can have five Video participates at once. You can watch Videos together from YouTube and other sites. There is a collaborative notepad, text chat, file sharing and you can even share your screen with other 'room mates.' You can sign in for Video to customise rooms and schedule sessions. » How to Use This Free Screencasting Free for E-Learning The Rapid eLearning Blog - 0 views

  • You may have heard the news last week that Articulate launched a new screencasting tool called Screenr.  It is a tool web-based tool that lets you create screencasts without installing any software.
  • My favorite…there’s no branding on the downloaded MP4 files.  Since you can download the videos, you’re video to use them as you wish.  That means you can use it in your elearning courses without looking like one of those MLS soccer players.  Go Sounders!  And of course, Screenr is video.  video is always good.

Anything from Articulate is worth looking at. I suspect this will go toe to toe with Jing.

Life Noted App - 10 views

  •
This app is Life Noted and merges camera, video, notetaking and more. It was recommended to me as a notetaking/ capturing video for observation in the classroom by teachers of students, but I think that anyone evaluating another person might benefit from this sort of video. Capture your notes and the speech about the notes and share it. Very interesting idea. It is video right now.

QlipBoard - Voice anything. Share anywhere. - 21 views

Multimedia online note taking tool. Students can capture screen images, make audio recordings for notes, or write text notes to accompany drawings. These different media can then be organized into tools!  I envision it being similar to Evernote with more interaction capabilities and with the great addition of being able to create tools of the information gathered. I like this tool!

MixedInk - Free Collaborative Writing Free - 0 views

This is excellent! It may not be perfect yet, but it's as close as I've seen for collaborative writing assignments. Make sure you watch the tour video to get a sense of how it works. They will be making more enhancements for education soon (no student emails required, and better reports), but even now I think it's excellent! Watch the tour video
