"An interest twist on the online timeline creator. Create an interactive multimedia timeline to embed or share with a url by changing a Google Document template. Great for quickly creating timelines around a common format or asking pupils to adapt from a timeline you create."
Timelines.TV is the website companion to a BAFTA award-winning television series. On Timelines.TV you will find four series of documentary videos arranged chronologically. There are three series about British history; social, political, and imperial. There is one series about the American West in the 19th Century. You can browse for videos using the timeline at the bottom of the homepage or use the drop-down menu at the top of every page. I've only had time to watch videos from the American West series, but if the rest of the videos are as good as those that I've watched, Timelines.TV is a high-quality production.

MAny teachers are using Edmodo and Timelines are important prewriting and graphic organizing tools. I'm very fascinated to see how this works and will see if there is someone out there using it so we can link to it from my blog.

Teachers. First and foremost History, Social Studies and Geography teachers. And for everyone else, who are looking for innovative ways teaching their subjects through dynamic storytelling.

Interactive timeline tools including Dipity, xTimeline & TimeGlider with how-to videos. Great to use with students for digital storytelling. Students often want to create without planning. These are great interactive ideas to help students through that critical stage of the digital storytelling process.
Here are some great resources for EarthDay. These were made in one of my favorite software programs called Timeliner. Timeliner is GREAT for the research because it completely cites all sources and aids in clipping from the internet. From planning and prewriting to creating graphic organizers - it is a great tool you should look at for next year!
