Here are some best practices that I have created for myself, to facilitate both my own learning and my students' passion to learn.

How do you value our informal education?

# I will provide you with an extra prep per week ("A Fed Ex Prep") for 6 straight weeks. This would be prep-free for you as I would prep whichever subject the you would like. The time is also negotiable (ie. if you would rather have 2 periods a week for 3 weeks). # This time will be self-directed to ANYTHING you want with the only goal that you must DELIVER your ideas.

Due to the ever changing nature of technology, educators must be lifelong learners to provide the most current methodology to captivate and educate their students. I think one of the reasons we become teachers is because we enjoy the fact that each day is different and we are willing to accept those challenges. That is why we can't become stale in our methods of facilitating learning in our classrooms.

Sometimes going off the grid is important and necessary! We must be a human being not a human doing!
