    This site boast "Well-designed and well-written, Junior Scholastic Online is a must-see site for news hungry elementary students. Junior Scholastic Online combines original reporting with an interactive news quiz (ten multiple-choice questions about the week's current events), a NewsZone RealAudio Radio broadcast, and an opinion poll ("Should pitchers have intentionally walked Barry Bonds?") Some of the content is only for Junior Scholastic print subscribers, but there is plenty for the rest of us, including an excellent Special Report on America Responds."

    This website offers tons of useful advice and resources for effective learning in the classroom. It offers lesson plans, information on class room management, professional development and much more. There is also a section on how to collaborate with parents. There are also printable types of resources such as calendars, puzzles and books. This site does require you to register and for the most part looks free. I recommend this site to any teacher interested in improving.

PBS Teachers - Resources For The Classroom (NETS 2a) - 0 views

    This is a resource site for teachers maintianed by PBS. This site has many resource tools including activity guides, videos, and news. The site does require you to register in order to fully untilize the site and has a premium membership will allow you to access more content. The website would fufil the NETS 2a. Teachers can incorporate the content in this website into the classroom.

Regestration is required and the site clams the curriculum is free, but will likely need payment for more advanced features. The site is claims alignment with ISTE who is credited with developing the NETS for digital citizenship.

This site is also designed as a social networking site for educators to promote and exchange information regarding digital citizenship. This site is not recommended for students as this site is intended to be viewed by educators (it is because of the social networking aspect of the site.

    This s a great teacher resource for teaching Digital Citizenship to students. It gives detailed descriptions to the nine themes of digital citizenship. This site is approved by Mike Ribble who is an expert in digital citizenship. It also has activities for students that will assist in learning the importance of digital citizenship, and best of all, the are in PDF format.
