This webquest is designed for 4th grade social studies. It deals with human/environment interaction. The student will discover where there are rainforests.

This webquest helps the students to explore the cause of the Civil War. The students have to look at the Civil War from the view points of both the North and the South.

This webquest will have students create a mini lesson on the human body. They will also create some questions and answers concerning the body for a Jepordy game. Finally they will present their mini lesson to the class.

This a video describing a really neat language arts cooperative activity. Using cards they go through a set of rules and help each other as well as silently classifying the cards. I find this a really interesting lesson to try with students.

This website offers a ton of lesson plans. You can search by subject, grade, and even key word. This particular page I searched Cooperative Learning and this is the search page results. This can be really useful if you are in a pinch and do not have time to write a lesson plan yourself.

I absoluetly love this website. You have to visit it if you have young children or neices and nephews. Looking for a game to match your school's curriculum? I actually did this with my 7 year old grandson. We did the detective search to see how "Cole" was eating and helped him pick out nutricious food in the lunch line at school. We were also able to print out a worksheet that shows how many teaspoons of sugar are in your soda drink. We will be doing the test this week. Children will have fun doing the investigation while learning about science adnd healthy snacks.

I really like this website and will be using it it the future for teaching Reading and helping those that are struggling with this subject. This website discusses how to use cooperative learning techniques with pre-schoolers. It focuses on teachers concerns about using cooperative learning with low status students who will not participate and/or that high status students will take over the group. Teachers must create groups that are equitable so that all students participate fully and use multiple-ability strategies (Cohen, 1998) if cooperative learning is to work. Teachers also need to convince students of three things: That different intellectual abilities are required in cooperative learning, that no one student has all of the abilities needed, but that each member of the group will have some of the abilities (Cohen, 1998).

The easiest way to create a WebQuest with more than 165.4 thousand users. I really like this website as you can create a brand new webquest or adapt and enhance existing webquests. There are some great learning webquests for pre-schoolers. The ones I viewed are "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" for art and music lessons and Science for Preschoolers. They have over 100 templates to use and target every subject. I will definately be using the Webquest now and in the future.
