This site is great for teachers who want to try some new ideas but are having trouble putting it together in a lesson plan. Teachers can view other lesson plans submitted by other teachers and view comments on how effective it was. K-12

I really like this site and what it has to offer. Good resources for teachers.....especially first year teachers
  •
This site let me down. It claims to have lesson plans for 9-12 grade, science but it only showed 1 lesson plan and it was marked for 8th grade. When I looked at the 6-8 grade section they only had 2 lesson plans that I found.

Individualized Education Program | IEP, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center - 1 views

  • IEP Team The parent plays a vital role on the IEP team, along with educators and other qualified professionals. This team works collaboratively to develop the child's IEP. Information gathered during the evaluation process, sometimes referred to as a multifactored evaulation or MFE, will be used in the development of the special education services and supports to address the unique learning needs of your child. The IEP team includes: Parent(s) or legal guardian At least one regular education teacher (if the child is participating in regular education classes) At least one special education teacher or provider, such as a therapist A representative of the school district, such as an administrator An individual who can explain the results of the evaluation and what it means for instruction, such as a school psychologist An individual with knowledge or special expertise about the child, such as an advocate or private health care provider, at the discretion of the parent or school The child, whenever appropriate

Multiple links to biology topics. Check out the Nobel: Cells & Organelles it contains a comic story of cells and organelles.

I really like the Cells and Organelles comic. A lot of students I have worked with really enjoy comics, and would probably learn without knowing it by reading that.
