If we are going to talk about community of practice, ıt is a good time to meet with E. Wenger
  •
That is true. in my last year when I was undergraduate student I somehow met E. Wenger, not himself but his influential studies. He is a professional in community of practice. I advise those who are interested in community of practice to visit Wenger's web site because there are a large body of resources about community of practice ranging from audio-based to text-based. I have also intention to read Wenger's works and studies.

A great example of building a community for a more difficult group. Most of the community anyone can access, but cops (once verified through their precinct) can talk in private areas. This community appeals to cops by offering great advice and satisfies affiliation needs well. PoliceOne is the most popular destination for Police Officers, Cops & Law Enforcement. Find breaking news and video, products, jobs & more on PoliceOne.

"Linking, developing and supporting English Language Teaching professionals worldwide" is the motto of IATEFL. I think it is one of the biggest field in ELT. There are many seminars, webinars and also some articles are done under the cover of this community. It is really appreciated but to join you need to pay around 56 $.
