Virtual learning, digitization and augmented reality make obsolete our old definitions of a classroom in 2020. Unbundled, personalized, and dynamic education is the new normal.

This infographic presents 5 benefits of using technology in teacher education. One of the benefits that I found interesting was "technology reduces weight". I agree with this benefit a lot. Since I am a commuter as a doctoral student, I feel this benefit deeply. I used to carry huge handbooks and articles for a single presentation or a class reading. I now carry my iPad and use my cloud account on my tech tools, and read everywhere. I feel more comfortable and mobile now with the reduced weight and the less paper.
In this link, you will find Pearson's report on social media use in higher education (2013). The report highlights which social media tools faculty members use for personal and professional reasons and their frequency.

As recent educational research (including educational technology) has implied, context is extremely important to TPACK framework. By "context" it is usually meant classroom, teacher, student, and societal factors. Therefore, the complexities of TPACK do not develop in isolation but in a complex and dynamic relationship with all those contextual factors. However, this study shows that context is usually missing from research about TPACK. In this direction, Rosenberg and Koehler (2015) underscore the importance of including contextual factors in TPACK research and of showing the role of context on teachers' knowledge and practice in terms of technology integration. Personally speaking, I believe TPACK research should not only focus on survey findings but also should be accompanied by complex qualitative data focusing on micro and macro contextual factors.
There is an article about flipped classroom in physical education (PE). It gives general information on what flipped learning is, and why this is a teaching method for the future. Also, it informs to readers how the method can be applied to the subject PE. There is nothing new; the method is the same as the other courses.
This presentation is the most effective ı have ever seen. And also last minutes of the presentaion, it gives important mesages. I again see that technology can change everything in education. In what way? for example as Mishra presented, you can do lecture in your class but it can be followed all around the world even if it is a lecture. You can spread your lecture through the world. If you are a little bit creative, you can develop your presentation or teaching/learning activitives and make them very effective. At that point technology usage is not only using computers or smart boards, it also helps gaining attention, makes your classroom activities more global. Mishra gives emphasis on effective usage of technology. An email can be used as a reminder or a storage area. So the final point is that teachers should be equipped for usaing technology in their classroom not only in sake of using it but also bringing up creative, collaborative, sharer generations.
