My favorite group of resources from this website was the section for "Beginning teachers and professional development." It includes tips for teaching job interviews, portfolios, time management, etc. This site also includes resources for all different subjects and holidays. Tips for current teachers are included as well!

Kids love doing crafts and making learning fun through projects and art. This site provides you with many different ideas for crafts in your classroom, as well as a "planner" for your classroom craft schedule.

This website has so many resources for teachers, including lesson plans, activities, calender ideas, parent & afterschool resources, inspiring stories from other teachers around the world, and so much more! What I really like is that, although this large amount of info can be overwhelming, you can choose the grade you will be teaching and narrow it down to all of the resources for that age group :)

Although this website is mainly focused towards health and PE it has a ton of great resources such as lesson plans, bulletin boards, etc. that allow you to incorporate healthy living into your everyday classroom.

This one will be the most helpful for me. We are trying to go towards the new way of teaching PE instead of the old way where they just roll out a basketball and that's it. I want to make a change and having every student physically active for 60 minutes everyday so they can lead a healthy lifestyle and this website will definitely help me with some ideas for lessons.

This site provides activities for children, generally in elementary school, in a variety of subjects. There are games, pages to print, activities, and many more ways for students to enjoy learning new information.

Enchanted Learning teaches kids about all sorts of things. It uses pictures and simple diagrams to explain information kids want to learn about. Worksheets and activities for teachers to use are also available.

Encourage students to help the world through learning. As you answer vocabulary questions right, 10 grains of rice are donated to help feed the hungry. You can even keep track of your groups total.

Freerice.com is a website that shows a vocabulary word and you click on a synonym for that word and for every one you get right it donates 10 grains of rice through the World Food Programme to help end hunger.
