What is the IWB Framework?
The framework for effective mathematics teaching and learning using the Interactive Whiteboard was designed after systematic research in 12 classrooms in Ontario. The framework describes how teachers and students are using Interactive Whiteboards in their classrooms.
These pages demonstrate visual phenomena, and »optical« or »visual illusions«. The latter is more appropriate, because most effects have their basis in the visual pathway, not in the optics of the eye. When I find the time I will expand the explanations, to the degree that these phenomena are really understood; any nice and thoughtful comment welcome.
This instructional framework is based on classroom practices that contribute to successful math instruction of ELLs. The framework is organized into six components, each of which is comprised of a series of enabling instructional approaches that support student success
A plethora of videos for teachers to use with students for exploring concepts in multiple subject areas. Some of the videos would be appropriate and some are not - you really need to pre-screen them before using withstudents.
