This website gives a couple lessons for all grade levels but I bookmarked the fourth grade level for internet safety lesson and how to handle school technology equipment.
Digital Scavenger Hunt, the great thing about this project is that they can go on a scavenger hunt on anything you want them to. They could also do it at home of they had the proper resources (digital cameras)
Students will write a descriptive paragraph about a fictional dinosaur character using writing process steps and extend their writing with illustration and Word Art title. Teachers in grades 3-5 can introduce the fun and easy tech integration aspects of this lesson into a writing lesson of their own.

This is an english website for elementary school students it contains, ideas for writing, grammar blast, and also what I really like about it is it has a list of many different types of graphic organizers and pdfs the you could print out to use with your class.
This would be a great website for extra practice for students maybe in free time. It test there sequencing skills and also teachers more about space and exploration. This is the Nasa site for kids. Could use for early finishers during space studies.
Great website where student can explore space, the universe, and scientist. Student can also go on a guided virtual tour of the universe which would be great for visual learning.
Play Space Place Trivia and test your knowledge of Space Place topics. Great for follow up on assessment of a space unit or before assessment so student can see what they know so far about space.
a short video clips in which you can pick from to watch and learn about nasa. There are short interview of people who work for Nasa and space missions and what they do. Very neat for looking at different types of jobs for children.
This website contains many games and other missions where students have to become astronauts and explorers discovery comets and going on a galaxy hunt are just two of the activities. Great for a "station" in computer time for science.
Great website to learn about the history of presidents. I could also spark a good writing lesson on "if you were president what would you do." Students could really take this website into their own hands and learn through exploration of it.
This would be a great website to use for research and learning during Black History Month for students to see all of the famous contributions made through science.
This is a great interactive site where students can learn more about location and animals in their habitats. Habitats are a big part of the fourth grade curriculum.
Journey Into Amazonia features the swollen rivers, flooded forests and dense canopy of the vast rain forest recognized as one of Earth's natural wonders. My students can actually feel like they are searching through the amazon and learn more about rainforest in their habitat units.
A digital library containing Java applets and activities for K-12 mathematics. Can use in classroom for lesson or smartboard lessons when manipulatives are not available.
Includes information and videos on many science and nature topics including space, dinosaurs, etc. Great to use in the classroom for my space unit where students were studying the solar system.
