You can create your animated video on Wideo by dragging and dropping any element into place in the editor section then set the sequence of the animations.You can manually adjust the timing of the animation of each individual image. You can upload your own images or use the stock options that Wideo offers. They include text, cartoons, and drawings. .

Ocean Tracks is an Australian website on which students can view the tracks of marine animals in an online 3D environment. The "tracks" part of Ocean Tracks shows you where in the world tagged animals are swimming or have swum. Ocean Tracks uses the Unity browser plug-in to provide animations of the underwater views of tracked animals. You can see what bluefin tuna, swordfish, sharks, and many other fish see in 3D.

Looking for something to jazz up your literacy lesson? Check out Domo by goannimate. A free animation tool that allows you to create funky looking animations. A great tool for any literacy lesson especially if wanting to emphasise dialog, setting and characterisation for creative writing.

Having students create RSA-animate style movies is a fun way to teach content- by having the students become the teacher. It's not too tough once you get the hang of it, and in a BYOD or 1:1 school, the tools are there.
