Gary Stager reflects on the CS4All movement and doing a little bit of Scratch. His concern is that we miss what is most important about programming and that is fluency over time. For Stager, this cannot happen in an 'Hour of Code'.

A really interesting look at the Khan Academy, and more, and the bigger "Flipped Classroom" movement. The article contains a potted history of the Khan development as well as some rebuttals from Gary Stager and Sylvia Martinez. An interesting read for all wanting to know more about Khan.

I'm not sure if anyone else was asked or the motivation behind the question, but I quickly rattled off the following five tweets.
