it is a short article about an opportunity cost, every one have different opinion on how to manage the money and what's the most value of the best alternative forgone.

I think this is a good example of opportunity cost, as it shows that while buying renting a house may give you more money to spend on things at the current time, buying a house will decrease the amount of money at that time, but will give you more in the long run.

Although this is a rather tenuous link to Scarcity and Opportunity Cost, we can see the scale in which Economics affects our world. The scarcity is the amount of soldiers, money and time, whilst the Opportunity cost is the next best alternative foregone, which in this case if Russia decide not to invade Ukraine, is a War between former Soviet Countries.

This is a great example of both scarcity and opportunity cost, since the decision Russia is going to have to make is depending on the scarcity of money that is going to increase if they use natural gas as a threatening weapon towards the countries in Europe. The opportunity cost of Russia choosing to keep trading natural gas for money, is not being able to threat European countries using natural gas.

Whatsapp turned down a much larger offer because they thought Google was only interested in outbidding Facebook, but not the actual business. They would have more money if they sold to Google, but the developers of Whatsapp cared about their business and users, they decided to sell to a company who really cared about their business. However, no one knows is this a right decision or not. Since technology improves dramatically fast, therefore, Whatsapp can potentially make more money in the future.

We can see this is a golden opportunity for Australia since its economy status is at the low place. The huge demand of milk powder from China just brought this chance to Australia to supply more thus make money from it to bring back the economy.
