Bird friendly insulated glass (BFIG) is a type of glass that is designed to reduce bird collisions. BFIG units are made up of two or more panes of glass that are separated by a spacer. The spacer is designed to create a pattern that is visible to birds, but not to humans. The pattern helps to break up the reflection of the sky and trees, which can make it difficult for birds to see the glass.
