Overwhelming! I'm not a big fan of everything going on here. It's unorganized and has too much going on. If I was trying to get any DMV School information from this site it would be very difficult.

Web Pages That Suck - learn good web design by looking at bad web design - Home Page - 0 views

This webpage was advertised as a website to help teach people what bad websites look like. Their homepage is an excellent example, and it does what it says-it helps you understand why a site is overwhelming and has too much going on.

I think this is a great website. It has some great information, but it also is clear and concise. It has clear links to areas, and it's aesthetically pleasing.

You may not be able to log into this site, but it is, in my opinion, a very difficult site to use for a blackboard program. I think this because of it's organization. Finding files can take forever, and there are too many links on the homepage for classes.

Vista/blackboard is a very frustrating CMS to use, in my opinion. Courses do not flow as well as they do on Moodle. Blackboard/vista seems to be "old school." I am unable to download files on this site when using an apple computer. This is a basic function that should be farily simple and yet it is a disaster! This is one of my least favorite websites!

Ha ha, I agree. Although I'm not as crazy about Moodle yet either.

In another one of my classes we've talked a lot about how kids don't read today-don't keep up with politics, modern events, or anything like that. This website would make it very difficult to learn anything related to politics. It's incredibly overwhleming, too many colors, and way too many links.

This is kind of a neat educational site for young children who are working with grammar. It's a game where you have to help gorillas.

Here's a list of my "least favorite" educational websites.  Although they are my least favorite, I have to confess that I have a sort of love/hate relationship with each.  I've provided information on each site, and given a little explanation for the "love/hate".  :)

This website is awesome. I haven't looked through many other disciplines, but for the English section there's a ton of information. You can take tests on certain literary periods or look through their archives. It's fantastic!

As you can see, there's some free or paid options. Truthfully I haven't used this site myself-I haven't needed to, but I've heard a lot about it. It seems like it'd be a great way to create some practice tests or home study programs for students.
