    This is a shareable web based text that can be used to create documents either on your own in collaboratively. Writeboard lets you save every edit, go back to other versions, compare versions, and other editing features. It is stored at the website so you can get to it from any computer in the world. You invite people to collaborate. It would be a good tool for the creation of documents among online networks and courses.

eLearning & Collaboration Solutions :: Elluminate - 3 views

  • THREE for FREE web conferencing. No cost. No catch. No kidding.

    This site allows you to create a virtual classroom. At our online school, we are provided with a virtual classrom through Elluminate. They do also offer a 3 for free which means you canhave your own room and have up to 3 people in at a time. This would be great for online tutoring sessions. You can upload PowerPoints to the whiteboard to help students understand a topic.

Scriblink - Your Online Whiteboard - 1 views

    I gave it a whirl and I'm impressed by the features and the ease of use. It's intuitive, and offers a rich, focused toolset. For whiteboard brainstorming this looks like a winner. I wonder how skype & scriblink would deal with each other.

  • Mark up websites, graphics, and photos, or start brainstorming on a blank canvas. Browse the web with your friends or make that conference call more productive than ever. No plug-ins, downloads, or firewall voodoo - it's all here, ready to go when you are. Browser-agnostic, user-friendly.

      this is a young company, only around since march of 2008. very promising technology. rough edges, but very intuitive.
  • Don't like to sign up for stuff? No worries! You don't need an account to use Twiddla - and neither does anybody else. The people you invite to meetings will never see so much as a login screen. You've got work to do. We'll stay out of your way.

    This is a very impressive tool. It makes a good first impression I've been 'twiddlin' in the sandbox and it's a great interface. I like it, twiddla has many of the meeting room features you look for in eluminate or dimdim. The interface is less complex and more intuitive. I entered the sandbox and experimented with the tools. I was able to upload one of our ppt, which was converted to ipaper on the fly. I also embedded a youtube video, a jpg, and a few other things. Very promising. There is a browse feature that doesn't seem to be responding in the demo. This is the essential path way for sharing (and marking up) webpages. I'll try again later. Also, when I hit it with powerpoints things bog down a bit. This is a flash based system and I can resize the environment using browser zoom commands, a nice feature for tired eyes. They've done a lot to streamline the login process. So, on first pass I'm very impressed with this tool. I'll set up an account and delve more deeply. I'll blog about it too!
