Built in polls and quizzes make presenting become an interactive exercise with formative, inline, point-of-use feedback!

Video Tools The Video Tools feature is something I would need to think about using. I have numerous years of video producing, shooting, editing, and narrating. But putting together high quality video presentations is a lot of work, and very time consuming. However, I do understand there are quite a few persons who are "visual learners". For them, I would take the extra time to create video presentations and utilize them here, if needed. I am very interested in the online quiz feature associated with Video Tools. Dave@LaCrosse

Looks like a great site to help kids become better preasenters of information.

Screencast-O-Matic - Free online screen recorder for instant screen capture video sharing. - 1 views

The BEST screen cast tool, in my opinion. I use this a lot to answer student questions in a more engaging manner. Share your screen and do picture in picture so students can see you and your screen at one time. This takes the level of interaction between facilitator and student to new online levels.

Animoto would be great to use to create visuals for a new topic. I might use this to build background knowledge before reading a non-fiction text.

Create an avatar - this would be a different way to engage students for a flipped lesson.

The free account does not look like it gives you that much. I worry about using too much different types of programs and overwhelming the students.

PhotoPeach - Photopeach for Education - 2 views

  • The combination of images, music, and text helps students learn about presentation, expression, writing, communication skills, art appreciation, and media literacy. The quality of the finished work is great and students will remember it forever. Start creating fun slideshows with captions, soundtracks, quizzes, and easy editing controls!
Combines photos, music and text into a slideshow. Good tool to help visualize concepts and more.
A good tool for instructors or students to teach "how-to" information or informing others about just about any topic, and students can review information wiith added quizzes. Only downside is you have to pay for Photo Peach Classroom Premium to get many of the desired applications like creating multiple student accounts and only the educator being able to delete/change presentations.
I especially like the quiz feature of this presentation tool. Ease of use and feature richness are what I value in a presentation application.
