" While this isn't is a Web 2.0 tool, it looks like it might be a helpful group for beginners like me. Living in Laos, I like how international the group looks. Does anyone else have suggestions of this kind of support group for beginners?

    A tool for teachers
  •
Resources like Classroom 2.0 are what a lot of my "beginners" would benefit from. A community supported network aimed at easing one into the technology discussion and learning some cool resources along the way. I encourage teachers who want to find some level of comfort with technology to engage it through sites like Classroom 2.0

I've used this and it's great!
  •
Free online study and learning tool for students.
  •
This is a solid online study tool. It offers different ways for the student to learn and retain material. It can provide a shared or individual study experience. The mobile app is especially handy allowing the student access to the site and their study tools wherever they are. They like the easy access.
  •
I see students using this fairly often. I know for Advanced Placement Government vocabulary and for Advanced Placement U.S. History there are many "reviews" already built by students and teachers.
  •
This site provides fun ways to study with virtual flash cards, tests, and games! It's available as a free resource on the web and iOS and Android devices.
  •
Good tool for reviewing terminology. Can make your own sets or search others for people studying the same topics
  •
My schools uses this quite a bit. There's a mobile app and a good variety of flashcard-style tools. Good for ESL, learning vocab, etc. It's used widely around the world, so plenty of pre-made quiz sets to use.
  •
I can already envision a computer station that has weekly sight words and computation facts that students can practice independently!
