Common Core Standards HS Math - 8 views

  •
Multiple sites that pertain to implementing the Common Core Standards in a high school math classroom
  •
Sue, what has your school district put in place to implement Common Core Standards? I think common core standards are good idea and I understand the purpose of educational continuity of standards across the country. My only concern is that even though they were created and adopted by most states, that each state will interpret the standards in their own way.

Google Custom Search - Using iPads in the High School - 3 views

  •
This custom search engine has information about the implementation and utilization of the iPad in education especially in the high school environment.
  •
The format of your search engine is helpful; an Apple one-stop shopping experience for answers.
  •
I like it, however most of the results that I got were from apple.com, I think it would be good to include more information (reactions, reviews, etc) that comes from an outside source. Are there other sites that can be added, or is there a way to prioritize results?

ENCHANTED LEARNING HOME PAGE - 0 views

  •
Great site for resource materials. I have had students use them to complete online work in addition to using them as printed resources, sometimes as inspirations for student work.
  •
I have used materials from the site many time in both psychology and history classes, especially the diagrams and maps. With a little tweaking, you can turn them into online activities for students to use while completing projects.
