Incorporating Active Learning Requires Purposeful Design | Faculty Focus - 1 views

  • If students are working together to solve a problem and the teacher is available but only asks students questions, chances are good that more than one student in the group is actively thinking and talking about the content

  • Create a document right in your browser.

  • Do a simultaneous editing with your friends
  •
Solodox is a "Web Word Processor" which allows you to create documents and projects online, while collaborating with other users. The service allows multiple users to view or edit the documents together, and you can put up your own documents. This might come in handy for group projects in online courses if group members want to work together. The documents remain private and only visible to those you invite. They can also be published to allow other students or instructors to access them. It's free, you can try it out without signing up, and they also support multiple languages.
