Screencast-O-Matic - Free online screen recorder for instant screen capture video sharing. - 1 views

  •
The BEST screen cast tool, in my opinion. I use this a lot to answer student questions in a more engaging manner. Share your screen and do picture in picture so students can see you and your screen at one time. This takes the level of interaction between facilitator and student to new online levels.

I used this one during a parent night to get feedback about couple of initiatives that we wanted to implement in our school. It was amazing to see everybody pull out all their gadgets (I have never seeing such a gigantic display) and participate. They loved to see the live feed on the changes of the different responses.

Poll Everywhere is a great tool! I have used this in class for both academics and for a bit of fun! Students really enjoy it; if someone doesn't have a cell phone or text capability, I have them pair up with someone that does, and they work together to answer the question(s). Lisa

Since mobile devices seem to be a way of life, jott.com looks like something that may keep everything organized in one space! For me, a GREAT idea! I know my phone has great capabilities, but jott seems to have it all in one place!

I have used PollEveryWhere.com in my classroom and students love it! It can used for check-ups on information, or just for a bit of fun. If a student doesn't have a cell phone or text capability, I have them pair up in the classroom with someone who does so they can work together.
