The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia (CME) is the peak resources sector representative body in Western Australia.

Links to information about individual minerals as well as to topics such as mineral exploration and a map of the major Major Mineral and Petroleum Projects in WA.

Our research covers the discovery of mineral resources; efficient, safe and environmentally responsible mining of those resources; transformation of these resources into 1) concentrates and mineral products, 2) processed minerals, such as alumina and synthetic rutile, 3) metal products, such as ingots, bars, billets and sheets; and the development of tools and technologies to improve monitoring and processing at each stage.
