  One of the best ways to listen is to "quote back" what your heard them say. That way they are flattered that you were really trying to hear them and give them the benefit of the doubt. And they will more readily do the same for you even if you disagree. That's how I would think about applying it to your life.

Well first off and most importantly is... I can write a paper, that isn't considered "creative writing" and still enjoy it A LOT. I guess it just has to do with the topic of the paper, and the time span given to complete the given task. I didn't really feel rushed or anything to get this paper finished, I didn't find myself barely finding information to go on it at the last minute, and I didn't find myself pulling my hair out over the frustration that this paper was bringing me. I really did enjoy doing this writing assignment AND writing in this style.

It was some type of a social compact since the very early days of mankind that males and females were not equal. In the old days, men were hunting for mammoths and women were maintaining fire in caves and bringing up children. In the course of the time, mammoths got extinct but the primeval distribution of the roles between men and women still existed thus making women’s life less interesting as compared with men’s. The men’s world has undergone many major transformations since that time, let us take the technological progress or new state systems for example. At the same time, the women’s world with their care about children and the house, with financial dependence upon husbands remained in the form it existed centuries ago. And finally, women felt that they were no longer satisfied with the role males thrust upon them.

n the wake of these studies, I think there are three easy techniques that can help to maximise good fortune: Unlucky people often fail to follow their intuition when making a choice, whereas lucky people tend to respect hunches. Lucky people are interested in how they both think and feel about the various options, rather than simply looking at the rational side of the situation. I think this helps them because gut feelings act as an alarm bell - a reason to consider a decision carefully. Unlucky people tend to be creatures of routine. They tend to take the same route to and from work and talk to the same types of people at parties. In contrast, many lucky people try to introduce variety into their lives. For example, one person described how he thought of a colour before arriving at a party and then introduced himself to people wearing that colour. This kind of behaviour boosts the likelihood of chance opportunities by introducing variety. Lucky people tend to see the positive side of their ill fortune. They imagine how things could have been worse. In one interview, a lucky volunteer arrived with his leg in a plaster cast and described how he had fallen down a flight of stairs. I asked him whether he still felt lucky and he cheerfully explained that he felt luckier than before. As he pointed out, he could have broken his neck.

This relates to what I already know because I know you have to listen in class to know what you have to write about and you have to look at your book so you know if your doing it right and i know to use the internet in looking for information. And it does take a lot of work to write a good paper. You have to brainstrom and firgure out what information you want to use in your paper and that takes time to do that.

I have learned that I need to do my paper first and then worry about everything else. I have learned that it doesn't take me along time to write a page as along as I stick with it. The hardest thing for me is starting the paper. I have always had trouble with that. But after i start it and get it going everything just starts to fall together. The best place for me to write my paper was at mass media. Because it's really quite and everyone is really nice. I just like doing my papers and all my other work in mass media. It's hard writing a paper when you have all kind of other things going on like,having all kinds of other homework to do like math and reading and public speacking,hanging out with your boyfriend,making time for friends and also making time to eat and sleep. It takes a lot to write a page and saying focused on it. But once your focused everything should work out and you should get your paper done. Which that's what I did, I stayed foused and got it done!

I do better when I am focused mainly on just one thing, because if i don't then i loose track on what I'm suppose to be doing. I found i love to listen to music when writing papers, I have no idea why but it helped a lot.
