In the long run, Micelli was not only managing the household but also acting as a role model to Bower's son Jonathan (Danny Pintauro), and Bower to his daughter Samatha (Alyssa Milano) - to complete the family and complicate the two's unusual relationship was feisty and oversexed mother Mona Robinson (Katherine Helmond).
