ImageField provides an image upload field for CCK. ImageField is a CCK-based alternative to the legacy Image project. It boasts features such as multiple images per node, resolution restrictions, default images, and extensive Views support. ImageField does not provide a built-in thumbnail solution, but complements the incredibly powerful thumbnail generation module ImageCache.

Backup and Migrate simplifies the task of backing up and restoring your Drupal database or copying your database from one Drupal site to another. It supports gzip, bzip and zip compression as well as automatic scheduled backups. With Backup and Migrate you can dump some or all of your database tables to a file download or save to a file on the server, and to restore from an uploaded or previously saved database dump. You can chose which tables and what data to backup and cache data is excluded by default.

This module allows you to specify content type(s) as being a block. This allows the content managers of the site to edit the block text and title without having to access the block administration page. Users only need edit access to that node in order to edit it. It is very handy to create a simple block content type and enable this content type for blocks and use these in place of the normal 'add block' functionality. Now supports translatable content In the 6.x-dev version, if Content Translation is enabled, then only a single node block per translation set is exposed and the node from the translation set with the appropriate language is loaded into the block.

Looks to be a pretty fair and balanced comparison. Having said that, I've never even downloaded Übercart. The comparison seems to be fair as she says she's used both, and isn't pushing one harder than the other. Looks like the choice needs to be made on a site-by-site basis

Nicer display of print_r() and var_dump(). Works hand-in-hand with drupal's devel module.

When using alternative search methods (Lucene API, Apache Solr), you're probably no longer using Drupal's default search, but it will continue to index content on your site. Use this method to disable the core search module from indexing content, and leave it to the big boys.

Display Suite allows you to take full control over how your content is displayed using a drag and drop interface. Arrange your nodes, views, comments, user data etc. the way you want without having to work your way through dozens of template files. A predefined list of layouts (D7 only) is available for even more drag and drop fun! By defining custom view modes (build modes in D6), you can define how one piece of content should be displayed in different places such as teaser lists, search results, the full node, views etc.

wordpress_migrate supports migrating WordPress blog exports (WXR format) into Drupal using the Migrate module. Import of posts, pages, comments, attachments, tags and categories is supported. Imports can be rolled back completely.

augments Views by allowing bulk operations to be executed on the nodes displayed by a view. It does so by showing a checkbox in front of each node, and adding a select box containing operations that can be applied on the selected nodes.

Migrate 2: For compatibility between Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 implementations of Migrate 2, all features in core for Drupal 7 are supported by the Migrate 2 module itself on both 6 and 7. Notably, that means while CCK support was in migrate_extras for Migrate 1, it is in migrate itself for Migrate 2.

Content Creation Kit or CCK is an extremely useful utility in Drupal. CCK comes handy while creating content using forms on a Drupal website. Once the CCK module is enabled in Drupal any number of custom fields can be added to any custom type. Websites built on the Drupal platform come built in with standard features such as Blogs, Story and Page. These in turn have 'Title' and 'Body' fields as basic features and if a user wants to add any extra field the same can be achieved through the use of Content Creation Kit.
