The Internet: a puppy mill's best friend | DogTime - 0 views

  •
Imagine... you're searching online for a new puppy and you stumble onto a web site that appears to have just the one you've been looking for. According to the site, the pup is vaccinated, in good health, and has his official papers. There are even photos: in one, the puppy is scampering through a field of daisies; in another, he's curled up by the fireplace in a comfy little bed. Now imagine that everything you've just seen and read is a lie.

Startinging a membership site for Dog lovers - 0 views

Hi. Pardon the intrusion. I recently joined this community for its heart-warming subject, and in reading the posts, I came up with an idea! The idea is Yonkly: a company that offers a micro blogging platform similar to identi.ca and Twitter. Why I suggest them is because it is fully interactive, and has tonnes of skin designs to choose from. "Dogtime- All things Dog" would have a quirky new community, in keeping with the equally quirky postings. Just remember to visit Yonkly!

Book review, excerpt and trailer... "Once every few years a novel comes along that touches its readers so deeply that it changes the way that they look at their own lives. Garth Stein's THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN (Harper; On Sale: May 13, 2008; $23.95; Hardcover), a heart-wrenching love story and a moving tale of redemption narrated in the opinionated and insightful voice of an extraordinary mutt, Enzo, is one such novel."
